Today we are making custom quote signs with lots of help from our new secret weapon.....a vinyl stencil that is FAIL-PROOF! First, you will choose to leave the wood it's pre-stained walnut color or we will show you how to use a dry-brush feathering technique to give the wood a colorful or rustic look. Next, we will adhere the pre-cut vinyl stencil onto the wooden sign. Finally, you will fill in the stencil using a special sponge. You can choose to have the letters all one color or to highlight certain letters with a brighter color. This is a very simple craft, even for the non-crafter. We promise that we will walk you through it step-by-step AND you'll love how it turns out!
We have several quotes for you to choose from. Click the 'register' button below and a pop-up menu will appear for you to choose your quote from a drop-down menu.
If you have a specific request with your project, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you. We want you to create something that you love.
Signs are 12" x 18" or 12" x 12".

String Art is so much fun! First popular in the late 1960s, string art is finally making a come-back! In this class you will choose a pattern (we have MANY to choose from!), use a hammer to drive nails around the pattern, and then use embroidery floss to fill it in! It is much easier than it looks, we promise. :) We have a large number of patterns to choose from including heart, three hearts, deer, paw print, state of Nebraska, 'LOVE', cross, Aztec pattern, love birds on a wire, cursive 'LOVE', hot air balloon, flower, giraffe, feather, pineapple, sun, octopus, triangles, moon and stars, mustache, Husker 'N', house with heart, elephant, and a mason jar.
The class fee includes all of the supplies needed to create one string art creation onto a pre-stained piece of wood. Class fee is $34/each. No refunds are given for cancellations with less than 72 hours notice prior to workshop start.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to choose your pattern and get settled in!
