What is open crafting?

During open crafting, you can drop in our studio at anytime to create whatever you’d like! You can choose from any of our crafts that we have available. We keep most everything in stock, but if you have a craft in mind, let us know and we can set it aside for you. To view our project examples and pricing information, head to the “Project Examples” tab!

Do I need a reservation?

Although we do accept “walk-ins” and “drop-in” crafters, we highly recommend making a reservation! We often fill up quickly and a reservation ensures that you’ll have a seat when you walk-in! Open crafting is a first come, first served basis with priority going to the reservations we have on file. Our busiest times are typically evenings and weekends, so let us know how many you have and what time you’ll be coming in, and we’ll save you a table. We allow you 2.5 hours for a reservation so let us know if you think you’ll need more time! To make a reservation you can call us at (402) 715-5959, email us at info@themakeryomaha.com, or send us a message via our Facebook or Instagram page! ***Please note - we will hold your reservation for up to 20 minutes after your scheduled time. After that, we can no longer save your table. If you know you’re going to be late, please let us know!***

Will I be guided during open crafting?

Yes! We have an expert crafting team to assist you. Open crafting is not a step by step process, instead we help you on an individual basis. We understand that we all have different crafting experience, so we can help you as much or as little as you’d prefer. We encourage creativity and questions, so don’t be shy! It’s our job to be experts!
